Our Mascot
It's up to you, the guests, to say what you enjoy most and tell us your needs as we are not running the event with all eyes on money raised: we volunteers work in order to enjoy ourselves and provide enjoyment for you, and we are very adaptable. We cannot produce magic, but it might feel like magic.
Sometimes the pictures here do not really show what the room looks like on the night because we don't wish to invade guests' privacy by photographing them enjoying themselves. You need to use your imagination!
Most treats are wheelchair accessible and where they are not, stewards are on hand to assist. Some are particularly created for disabled people to enjoy, for example, the Salon of the Senses, which provides a huge range of sensory treats.
People come from all over the country and indeed all over the world, with very different expectations but people rarely go home disappointed.

Ball Pool
A wooden pool filled with coloured balls. Guest climb in and play.
Pleasure nestles gleefully under the surface, whilst happy faces express the frivolity of innocence. Excitement waxes and wanes as friends gather and disperse, but everyone is welcome. Stewards are there to help people with impairments.
Bad Boyz

Every year, we invited our very best performers from the Erotic Awards back to take part in a Late Night Cabaret. Simply unmissable, this incredible Hall of Fame will take place at 1.30am on stage in the Auditorium. Seating is on first come first served basis and people sitting near the stage know they will might be splashed by Mouse's act.
Café Shebeen
Fosit creates a sumptuous chamber of cubicles and hidey holes, bathed in magical lighting and mellow sweet music. Fosit watches over like an eagle: his artistic skill in creating a sexy atmosphere is world-famous and there are no rules, just hugs, dancing, resting, watching, chitchat, plotting, frivolity and heavenly lust.
Cage
Our beautiful wrought iron circular cage is secured to the ceiling of the Café Shebeen, creating a spectacular centre piece. Guests may enter and play inside. If the cage is already occupied, you may need to wait your turn. Kidnapped guests are not released until a ransom is paid. You may be charged a £1 to enter, or to have your partner locked inside (rest assured that nothing is done to guests without their consent, or the consent of their dom). Sometimes guests display themselves, performing together as a spectacle or allowing passers-by to finger them through the railings, offering their bits in an obvious fashion (others do not).
Changing Room
Situated near the entrance, this is a unisex space for dressing up on arrival. Sorry if it's rather crowded at the start of the night, but do help each other to look great and make final adjustments. Once you are ready, kindly leave your bags in the cloakroom (do not leave them in the changing room). Visit the Dressing Up Shoppe for your final touches – and you may prefer to use the mirrors in toilets to do this at leisure.
Climax Clinic – for women only
Take your turn on a VXI Female Orgasm Machine. You simply sit on the machine with or without the dildo inside you, turn on the knob and adjust to your requirements. A unique pitch black environment in which guests are painted with light! The booth/darkroom offers a sensual photographic experience, resulting in magical photographic portraits over a long exposure time.

Diner

Situated beside the Changing Room, selling sexy clothes and accessories to guests who have been unable to get dressed up, or need sparkling up. The team, run by the wonderful sexy vintage costumier D. will help you dress up and make you look fabulous. There is a tiny charge.
Dungeon
Run by the mischievous, ingenious inventor of pleasurable torture equipment, Danny of Infernal Mechanix. Voyeurs can watch from outside. The dungeon will include vertical suspension and demonstrations of contact play on a cross. There will provide a bench, sensory deprivation, and two coffins: one a see-through but internally mirrored grope coffin the other lined in rubber.
Erotic Awards Exhibition
The 2011 Erotic Awards Exhibition is on show in the Gallery at the back of the Auditorium. This is an ideal place to discuss art, politics and sex with other guests and mingle with the finalists. Framed work is on sale, 50% to Outsiders.
Erotic Awards Finals Show
This show is of the finalists in the Erotic Awards and includes finalists from the Performance, Fashion and some other categories. The winners are announced at the end of the show.
Erotic Awards Presentations
Winners in the non-performing categories are announced on stage. They are presented with Golden Flying Penis Trophies, hand carved for us in Bali, and a certificate.
Fetish Requests
We have always catered to people with particular fetishes and, over the years, they own organisations, clubs, websites and groups have been set up to cater to those people, with the need for us to supply the facilities vanishing. Garden of the Senses Photo Booth
Night of the Senses photographer Jon Edge provides us all with the opportunity to have the more politely elegant side of our riotous pleasures recorded on camera – either for our own albums, for our website, or both. Clusters of guests eagerly flaunt themselves for their own personal memory of the night. Jon's studio is a private sensual film-set, with drapes, foliage, flowers and feathers framing soft furnishings on which Jon captures provocative posing and playing. He asks guests to make whatever payment they can afford and the booth raises several hundred pounds.
Grope Box
This large wooden box has been made for people to touch those who are inside, without knowing who they are. The box is just large enough so that you can stand in the middle without anybody being able to quite reach you from the openings. When you move towards the walls, you can be fondled. Some couples like to go in together and sometimes there are masses of people inside. Always allow people who accompany you inside to move to the centre if they wish. The people who are outside doing the fondling may need to wait until they feel someone. Please be gentle and tender. Hospitality Desk
Guests are greeted by a team of hosts and hostesses at the Hospitality Desk. The Desk is laden with sweeties, fruit and other sensory experiences, together with maps, information and catalogs. Hostesses wear sashes and are available at any time to answer your questions. They have runners to find any help required. Vivien is the Mother Hen at the Desk, assisted by Julia and Ice. The Desk will announce the prize draw at 1am. It is the Information Hubub of the Ball, the location for supplies, lost property, first aid, a message board, and costume first aid. It's where some people feel at home and take to breather.
Medical Centre
The dirty doctors and naughty nurses of the Medical Centre are on tour for one night only at the Night of the Senses. This drop-in clinic is available for a quick health check or a more thorough medical experience. Electro therapy and needle play are house specialities. NHS and private patients all welcome.
Massage Garden
A very sensual area run by Simon, where masseurs, masseuses and guests massage each other and enjoy a free-form, respectful, group experience. Everyone is made to feel totally connected in a generous and gentle way. Sweet music wafts over, and chat is discouraged. Out and about at the Ball, you won't see anything sexual (probably) because we don't want to frighten the horses. Parties within the Ball
People who wish to bring a large party to the Ball, do so with the knowledge that they will be reserved a special space created specially for themselves.
Pony Cart Rides
Sir Guy of The Tawsingham Community and The Other Pony Club brings human ponies and his own trap and they trot around the Ball stopping off for hay and water. Luckily the girls are house-trained and do not bite the guests although they have been seen to rear up. Guests start their rides at the Stables.
Peeping
“Best pound I ever spent” said Ivor Dembina, (founder of perv comedy) in 1999 - and our prices have not gone up! Nowhere else can you watch such outrageous happenings by spying consensually and sharing the glee that this money is going to charity. You can spy into the beautiful Sensuality Chamber where musicians jam to the sexual activity. You can also peep into the Fuck for Forest Film Studio. Disabled people are provided with peep holes at various heights and are given priority. Viewers describe verbally what they see to blind guests. When action is reaching a crescendo, peepers cheer the performers along.
Political Stalls and Initiatives
We give space to groups who need to publicise their sex-positive campaigns and many of our guests seem to be really interested. In 2011 and in several years previously, the International Union of Sex Workers came along and attracted new members to support them. We welcome more!
Rubber Wall
This ingenious wall of natural latex is back-lit with naked people pressed against it from behind. Guests can slide their bodies beside them, feel their warmth and curves. You are requested first to remove all sharp objects, and be careful not to rip the rubber – very easily done, and a catastrophe indeed.
Sensuality Chamber serenaded by minstrels
Couples step into a sex parlour for erotic play on the silky soft surfaces, serenaded by sitar players, naked cellists, bubble-makers, hosted by Bob and Angel. Meanwhile, the curious gaze upon this wondrous scene through peep holes in the wall. Lone males are not admitted and natterers shooed away.

This is a newcomer to the Ball and in 2011 it came like a breath of fresh air! Never before had we seen such hot action without sex! They can use any trick, including sexual invasion. Mouse was the organiser, Martin Disney the compare (with gong) and the audience cheered them on. Many guests sadly missed the show but be sure to be there in 2012.
Tantric Pleasure Palace
Breathe deeply and enter. Guests will be treated to succulent fruits and chocolate, massaged with feathers and finger tips and encouraged to explore themselves and others in these Tantric cavern. The Programme hangs at the entrance, and you may need to wait till the next session begins.
Tea and Empathy
