The Night of the Senses is run with strong artistic, sexual, theatrical and moral integrity.
Not only does it raise funds for Outsiders, but it is also disability friendly, accessible and welcomes people who find it difficult to socialise in a nighclub environment.
The Ball is female friendly and supportive, with a team of stewards and hosts to ensure all behaviour is respectful as well as playful.
The atmosphere is relaxed, sensual, creative and amusing rather than posey, pretentious, competitive or ostentatious.
Our price structure is geared to include all, encouraging odd numbers so that singles and groups of friends come along as well as couples.
We are open to all tastes, so long as everything is consensual.
The strict dress ensures everyone becomes the spectacle.
The night is professionally organised by volunteers who care about your enjoyment, so it feels very much nicer than a commercial event.
The Little Book of Delights makes everything clear, to ensure everybody comes along with realistic expectations and a generous heart.
What we stand for:
• Respect: no means no
• Inclusivity: acceptance of all abilities and disabilities, genders, tastes and fetishes, with our performers, volunteers and guests
• Supporting our charity which, because of the stigma with what we do, helping disabled people have a sex and love-life, relies on us for their continued success
• High artistic integrity — this is not a sleazy event but a classy (yet unpretentious) celebration of sex
• Supporting guests — we run a Hospitality Desk, a team of trained stewards and a Tea and Empathy Tent.
