OhLaLa! was started by Michelle and her husband Fred when Michelle quit dancing 12 years ago. Now her vibrantly-coloured, wonderfully-made designs can be seen adorning London?s erotic dancers, everywhere from West End clubs to East End pubs.
Michelle began with bikinis but was soon designing long sequinned glamour dresses, travelling around the dance venues to sell them. Now she still travels but also invites dancers to her studio in Camden ? like walking into a rainbow, this gorgeous natural-lit room is lined with dresses arranged in blocks of colour. Girls can take as long as they need to try any of the 100+ designs (all with matching accessories), admiring themselves in a heart-shaped fairy-lit mirror while Michelle provides tea, chat and styling advice.
Its been great fun putting the designs together and enjoying the
excitement and feedback we get from our customers,
says Michelle. We have
so many designs and are always working on new ones.
