Gwendoline Lamour is the undisputed queen of British burlesque. Her training in acting and classical dance is discernible in the poise elegance and stagecraft she brings to her shows. For the past six years Gwendoline has performed worldwide and has accrued an impressive roster of clients, from the aristocracy, to major fashion designers and celebrities; with the Marquis of Bath, Jasper Conran, Deisel, Anna Friel, Eddie Izzard, Charles Worthington, Agent Provocateur, and Cirque du Soleil (for Naomi Campbell) being a small selection.
With her wit, style and panache Gwendoline has been heralded as "the Gypsy Rose Lee of our times" (Hermione Eyre The Independent) and has recently appeared as a guest on Lorraine Kelly's fashion and celebrity show LK Today to give advice on etiquette, elegance and fashion. Gwendoline has also founded recently her School of G'Lamour in which she teaches the fine arts of tease and glamour for the modern girl.
