www.striporama.co.uk

David Flint, an authority on all things erotic, has produced this fabulous website which glorifies striptease and provides international information and news on the industry.

The news demonstrates the continuing stigmatisation of strippers and erotic performers, and gives them a platform.

Information and Biography

Striporama.co.uk was launched in March 2005 to celebrate both the golden age of traditional striptease and the new vogue for neo-burlesque, which has become popular as a reaction to the soul-less, money-driven world of the lap dancing club.

Striporama has an news section reporting on issues relating to the striptease scene, erotica, adult entertainment and censorship; reviews of DVD's, books, music and live events; a gallery archive featuring portraits of strippers and dancers, strip club promotional art, film posters and more; and detailed strip-pub and club listings for the UK and internationally, alongside listings of performers, agencies and models.

In June, the site expanded to include two microsites: Striporama Fetish, covering the fetish club scene, and Striporama XXX, devoted to the Golden Age of Adult Cinema.

Striporama.co.uk editor David Flint has been involved in adult entertainment for almost two decades. Former editor of acclaimed magazines Sheer Filth, Divinity and Sexadelic, he has also contributed to a wide variety of publications including Penthouse, Desire, Skin Two, Knave, Men's World, Bizarre, Loaded and Hot Dog, to name but a few.

He has written two books - Babylon Blue: an illustrated history of adult cinema (Creation Books 1999) and Ten Years of Terror (FAB Press 2001).

Other work includes design and writing for the likes of FAB Press, Blue Underground and Anchor Bay, and more recently his documentaries can be found on the DVD releases Beneath the Valley of the Ultravixens and Last House on the Left. His documentary about the Carnival of Souls fetish club awaits official release.

David is also a long-time campaigner against censorship and for sexual freedom.
