A bouncing Euro-casual with cute tache and 80s leisurewear, Lightening leapt around the audience kissing the prettiest boys and girls. The strong comedy element of his routine ensured he did this without causing offence, making everybody laugh. Despite his air of innocence, his professionalism was evident in how he worked his audience and played up to the cameras by the side of the stage. His show culminated with his cock lit up by tiny lights and a rapturous round of applause.
Like a bolt out of the blue he comes. an urban dance warrior with fire in his eyes and electricity in his fingers. Through the back streets of the wicked city he prowls, ever on guard to face his ultimate challenge- the battle for his heart!
Lightning is a tribute to the Chippendales and sexy melodramatics of 80's dance style. He is the alter ego of Josh Knowles, whose other routines include Jesus Presley, Dr. Rupert Hooper, and his bearded sister Rubella.
Josh has worked on the U.K. Burlesque scene since 2002 and appearances include: The Whoopee Club, Duckie, Modern Times, Burly Q: 'A Queer Cabaret', Hip Hip, 291 Gallery, 491 Gallery, 'Kerrang' Awards Show Party 2003, 'Gumball 3000' Premiere, Download Festival 2004, 'MTV Motomash' Tour 2003 and the Theatre Museum's 'Art Of Tease' event series.
