These pants are a fabulous turn-on and very witty.
1971 - I was born in Sao Paulo city. I saw all the people wearing the elephant's feet pants. This was the period of the Flower Power and everything was full of colour, peace and love.
1978 - I went to school. This was the first time I had to think about my future and I realized that I wanted to be an astronaut. My room and my life were full of Playmobil toys. I loved to play with them because they create their own world.
1980- The first contact with making clothes. My grandmother showed me a textile and I drew a dress for her. After I always went during my holidays to my grandmother to watch her making her own clothes. This time was the starting point of my wish to become a designer.
1989- I finished the high school. decide to learn about design, not in the school but working with other expert designers, I didn't't learn just only how to make clothes but also about shoes, accessories, hats and more.
1992 - I founded the label Retros do Vies. I made my first own collection and the first show in São Paulo city. The inspiration was the pop art and also the playmobil world.
1993- I started new projects. I wrote a script for a short-movie and created the conception of the Noids. It was amazing to concentrate me in new creatures because I had to create them a new life, a new style and a new world for them.
1996- I left Brazil and travelled in many cities around the world, trying to find the right discipline to live and to work. Zürich was the city where I found what I was looking for.
1999- I opened the new atelier in Zürich. I collaborated with people and fabrics that allowed me to use hi-tech materials in my collection.
2000 - I was invited to take part at the Swiss Fashion Show. I presented the Noids.
2001- Presentation of own creations at the Salon International de la lingerie in Paris.
2002- Invited to make part of the closing part of the Expo 02 in Neauchtel,.I made 3 rooms installations with the Noids, theme.
2003-2005- as an artist , working in different , projects of video, installations and cinema in Brazil with the personagem, Noid and doing fashion in parallel.
