Runs Gash - an innovative sex shop selling 21st Century designer solutions to safer sexuality, supplying condoms to cabs in Sheffield, challenging the opposition to the opening of a local lap-dancing club, etc. Julia gave the key speech at the national Lib Dem Conference in September 2002 for the sexual equality of young people. She is a member of the Lib Dem Working Party on Censorship policy (anti-sex censorship) and is currently in line to be elected as an MEP.
Julia Gash (40 years) is a high profile Sheffield businesswoman. She is the founder and principal of Gash, a lifestyle brand specialising in developing innovative and creative solutions to 21st Century sexuality. Gash, established in 1990 has both a world-wide portfolio, internet and local retail presence and an events programme that promote sexual expression and confidence.
Julia Gash is also pioneering a change of attitudes in Britain through her campaigning work in the field of sexual politics. She continually challenges the infringement of civil liberties through sexual prejudice and censorship and is currently in line to be elected as a Member of the European Parliament for the Lib Dems in Yorkshire.
